Account Deletion
You can delete your MetaGear account and all associated data using either method:
Option 1: In the App
Open MetaGear → Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Option 2: Via Email
Send an email to hello@metagear.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account and profile information
- All gear items and pack lists
- Shared pack links
- Subscription data (active subscriptions should be cancelled through your app store first)
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your data will be removed within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal obligations.
Privacy Requests
For privacy-related requests (data access, correction, or deletion), email hello@metagear.app with the subject line "Privacy Request".
